Do NOT give money or goods (including but not limited to a farewell gift, congratulatory gift, condolence money, condolence flower).
Exceptions:
- Promotional or commemorative goods to be given away generally.
- Congratulatory gift at wedding party or condolence money at funeral of parent which is tendered in the relationship with the parents of the public officer and which is in the range of ordinary social relationships or courtesy.
- Congratulatory money at a wedding party in the range of actual cost is allowed.
- Condolence telegram is allowed, but not condolence wreath.
- Condolence money tendered in the relationship with the public officer is not allowed.
