Εννοεί απλά εκτός οθόνης, δηλαδή μια φωτογραφία που δεν εμφανίζεται στον ταινία, κινηματογράφο;

ή μήπως αναφέρεται στην τεχνική off-screen, όπου η κάμερα απομακρύνεται από το κεντρικό πλάνο; άρα off-screen = εκτός κάδρου (κι ίσως έτσι να εξηγείται και το blurry);
