Es geht um eine in China ausgestellte Gewerbeerlaubnis. Bei einem Satz kann ich bislang nicht nachvollziehen, was genau gemeint ist:

"Business License for Enterprise’s Legal Person has an original copy and a duplicate copy. Both of the two copies have the same legal forces. The original copy of business license shall be placed in an *eye-catching position in the address of enterprise’s legal person*. The enterprise’s legal person could apply for many duplicate copies from the registration office if necessary."

Bei "enterprises's legal person" denke ich eher an das Unternehmen (=juristische Person). Aber wie soll die Gewerbeerlaubnis hier in der Adresse auffällig "untergebracht" (placed?) werden. Kann sich jemand etwas darunter vorstellen?

deutlich sichtbar wo immer etwas erscheinen soll in diesem Fall (siehe auch meine Anmerkung zu David bei mir: im Deutschen hat immer etwas "deutlich sichtbar" zu sein, oder deutlich sichtbar angebracht zu sein. Auffällig angebracht ist meines Erachtens nicht "falsch" aber keinesfalls idiomatisch. Auffällig hat noch ganz andere Nebenbedeutungen.

eye-chatching position in the address Kann mir durchaus vorstellen, dass eine Gewerbeerlaubnis Teil einer Adresse ist! Auch in Rechnungen ist manchmal die Tax ID im Adressfeld anzugeben.

Mit dem "eye-catching" ist es natürlich auch so eine Sache... wenn das Original in den Büroräumen oder allgemein am Geschäftssitz so aufbewahrt werden muss, hieße das ja sinngemäß, dass es deutlich sichtbar an der Wand hängen muss. Etwas kryptisch, das Ganze...

agree das glaube ich auch, was sollte eine Zulassung/Konzession/Erlaubnis in der Adresse oder im Briefkopf zu suchen haben

Danke für eure Vorschläge! Armorels Hinweis halte ich ebenfalls für wertvoll, denn der Text gibt ja vor, dass es ein Original und eine (vermutlich beglaubigte) Kopie/Zweitfassung oder ähnliches der Gewerbebewilligung gibt. Wenn das Original im Briefkopf angegeben werden muss, könnte das aus meiner Sicht nur bei zwei verschiedenen Nummern passen.

at the premises of My interpretation of "in the address of" is that it means "at the premises of" - i.e. the licence must be displayed at the workplace, shop or whatever. The fact that the entire text is in very poor English supports the idea that a bit of lateral thinking is required to decipher it!

There are many ways to express this; I'd say the English should have read:
"...must be displayed in a prominent position at the company's offices", and this is what I offer.

Ja, mittlerweile glaube ich auch, dass es so gemeint ist. Später im Text wird auch eine jährliche Unternehmensprüfung angekündigt. Da würde eine recht straffe Vorgabe wie diese nicht verwundern.
