Come tradurreste "by e.g. slags"? "e.g." sta per "ad esempio", "slags" dovrebbe essere "scorie".

| Grazie. Quel "by" va tradotto. La tua soluzione va bene per "e.g. slags" (ad esempio scorie), ma compare anche "by", che è ciò che non mi rende chiara la traduzione. Quanto alla seconda parte della frase, credo che la soluzione giusta sia la seguente: "ma non per rivestimento di usura o permanente ad alta temperatura." "lining" è il rivestimento. Inoltre "permanent" non è riferito alla temperatura, essendo un aggettivo che qui compare dopo "temperature". |

Se la traduzione fosse "per mescolare o riparare miscele", in inglese si avrebbe "for gunning and repairing mixes", qui invece la traduzione corretta credo sia "per miscele di spruzzaggio o riparazione ma non per rivestimento di usura o permanente ad alta temperatura". |
