"***Уничтожение*** химических, инфицированных медицинских и биологических материалов, в том числе лекарственных и трупов животных..."

Описывается методика того, как лучше уничтожать разнообразные отходы мед. деятельности. Грубо говоря, как это правильно сжечь, чтобы ничего не осталось.

"destruction" - наверное, слишком дословно.
"disposal" - вроде как скорее "вывоз" или "слив" куда-то, при этом сами отходы существовать не перестают.
"annihilation" - как-то слишком пафосно для сжигания.

Что здесь уместнее употребить?

Literal but accurate. Such waste needs to be "destroyed", not just "disposed of", and this must be made plain.
"Annihilation" is more applicable to living organisms (including human beings).

Thank you. They may well be destroyed by incineration, but that specifically means burning, so I prefer to use the wider term.

Может я что-то не понял, но ведь в примечании к воросу и сказано: «Грубо говоря, как это правильно сжечь, чтобы ничего не осталось. ». А если разграничивать, тогда, ну да, «destruction».
Note from asker:
"Incineration" это уже "сжигание", а не "уничтожение". Это читатель должен узнать из текста, где предлагается осуществить уничтожение ПУТЁМ сжигания. Мне всё-таки надо бы разграничить эти два термина и использовать далее один для описания другого.
