f. dp (date)

português para inglês Outra Genealogia abbreviations
This is part of the genealogy of a Portuguese noble family:
E.g. Dom XXXX XXXXXXX (f. dp 1730)
Or: Dona XXXX XXXXXXXX (f. dp 28/07/1647).
The "f." is "falecido", so is replaced by "d." in English, but can anyone cast any light on "dp"? "Data provavel"? But some of the dates preceded by "dp" are very precise, though none are recent.
Just for information, we also have "(f. c. 1630)" which is obviously "died circa 1630 - d. c. 1630).

Just a wild guess, another possibility I suppose.

f. dp (f. data provável)

É o que posso imaginar. Ao meu ver faz sentido, já que fornecem uma data completa (dia, mês e ano)

dp = data provável
