Não usaria o termo exatas, pq não se usa nos curriculos das escolas e universidades americanas. Os curriculos se dividem em Liberal Arts e Sciences

Branches of knowledge
I believe the term "exact sciences" is not common in the USA. The branches of knowledge there are:
Humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, formal sciences and professional and applied sciences.
What Brazilians call "exatas" would include some disciplines of the natural sciences, formal sciences and professional and applied sciences.
If I had to translate that term, I would explain what it means.
