Basically one suffices, provided several tabs for dictionaries or other research are open. However, I find that two monitors are more convenient, one for the translating, the other for research.

Two Jul 3, 2020

The ideal would be two, but I only have one and no place to fit another. So, maybe the day I'll move to a bigger place...

You can only look at one screen at once, and it’s hard to see how alt-tabbing between windows is going to slow you down. Then there’s the space issue and the environment to consider.

But then I’m pretty old skool. If I had to use Trados or similar evils, it might be different.

One is enough for me. I imagine 2 would be nice too, but there's no real need for that and I don't want to get spoiled.
I am currently working from bed because of a broken leg and my laptop is perfectly fine. Couldn't do with anything else in this situation.

Thank you!
I'll admit I'm feeling kind of lucky because I can just use all the time for work now (and, luckily, there has also been plenty of it after a very slow April and May) without any distractions. A broken arm would have been much worse...

I tried using two, but it just got confusing. The more space I have, the more tabs I open up.
