Bio
I am an NBCMI-certified medical interpreter (Russian) with 9 years' experience. I have ACTFL certification for both Russian and English (English: Superior, Russian: Advanced High). I am currently pursuing an MA in Linguistics, but prior to that I was Manager of Interpreter Services at North Memorial Health in Robbinsdale, MN. In this role I oversaw a team of 17 interpreters and translators; we translated everything from patients' letters to medication instructions to signage. I have extensive experience in project management, accounting, HR, onboarding, and team building. Besides this I have also completed numerous translations for art exhibitions, advertisements, TV scripts, and user manuals. As a former manager I understand the importance of responsiveness and adherence to deadlines; once I have agreed on a rate and a deadline with my client, I never miss that deadline.
