Through training courses, policy makers will become familiar with: environmental science; the environmental policies, laws and regulations that exist but are not widely known or need to be updated; methods for effective governance; corporate social responsibility; the links between sustainable development and the environment; the commercial evaluation of renewable and non-renewable natural resources; and strategies for commercial negotiations. As the environment is a cross-cutting issue, elected members and managers in all fields should be encouraged to participate.

If two or more natural persons, who are related as husband and wife, direct predecessor and descendant, brother and sister, or guardian and ward, hold shares of the same company, their respective shareholding ratios should be added together during the calculation.
