Bio
My mission statement " For those who love high quality service" means not only a good quality translation but also the potential clients will have the benefit of good customers' services. The quality, the appearance, choice of words, syntax, register and format of my translation are no doubt professionally done and, most of all, user friendly to the prospective readers. Therefore, your messages are absolutely and totally sent to your intended readers. If you are looking for a translation service which has the criteria of quick turnaround, cost effective, excellent quality and easier communication, it would be my service and my service alone. Some clients have got insight into it and already given me positive feedbacks for WWW, Willingness to Work Again. I have earned 4 WWW entries from the respected clients in a single month for my sincere communication, competency and professionalism. One WWW entry is as a result of my translation from English into Burmese of very large and complex legal documents which the client is very pleased with my work. Please check these out by clicking WWW entries at the top right hand corner.

My background of twenty years ago was a Judicial Officer in one of the township courts in Rangoon Area in Burma. Law was my working expertise as a second judge (Judicial Officer Grade 4) of a township court in which I had handled criminal and civil cases. I had migrated to Australia in 1997. I had obtained Australian education of Diploma of Business, Advanced Diploma of Accounting and Graduate Certificate in Professional Accounting from TAFE College and Southern Queensland University. I had gained accreditation for Interpreting from NAATI, National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters in 2003. Since then I have been practicing as Interpreter in the State of South Australia. Currently I am one of the leading contract Interpreters with TIS, Translating and Interpreting Services, which is under Australian Government's Department of Immigration and Citizenship. I have been busy with my interpreting assignments mostly on daily basis so my interpreting service for Proz.com customers is not available. I had gained accreditation for Translation from NAATI in early 2005, since then I have been practicing as translator. Accreditation of translation includes both language directions for Burmese and English. So translation from Burmese to English is also available, but frankly saying, the quality of the English translation may not be as very good quality as those of the native English speakers. However, I guarantee that it would be quite reasonable and smoothly readable. Many of my translation are appeared in Australian Government Agencies' websites, in which information provided on Australian culture and services available in Burmese language for the people of new entrants and refugee background.

I am a member of AUSIT, Australian Institute of Interpreters and Translators. My activities in AUSIT are not very much but I have regularly attended local branch meetings, workshops and seminars. I have attended 2009 AUSIT Conference, which was held last November 2009 in Adelaide, which is my home town. As I am a member of AUSIT, I have my word to the potential clients that their confidential information are strictly upheld in accordance with the code of ethics of AUSIT, ATA and FIT. My message to the potential clients is that I am up-to-date with the translation industry.

For identification purposes, I have translator ID Card issued by FIT, International Federation of Translators.

Translation is done by using CAT, computer assisted translation software, Wordfast. Texts inside the prescribed forms and frames can be translated without altering the original format. Format of the original document is maintained as much as possible by using adjustment of font size, character spacing and sometimes page setting. Texts inside the Microsoft Excel Worksheet can be translated as well. Scanned documents in a format other than Microsoft Word could be, but not always, converted into editable word document by using Optical Character Recognition Software. So please do not worry about scanned documents.
On top of the good quality translation and service, customer's satisfaction is guaranteed.
Try me, I am ready to have a go.
