acudocx

AcudocX is a free-to-use workflow optimisation solution for NAATI-certified translators that streamlines the entire process of working with direct clients, particularly those requiring immigration-related extract translations of their ID documents, and cuts the total time spent on these jobs from roughly half an hour (including all related correspondence, review etc.) to less than 3 minutes per job (average around 1 minute).

AcudocX is now looking for NAATI-certified translators in 10 new languages to become early adopters of the system.

We presented AcudocX during the 2020 AUSIT National Conference as a semi-automated workflow streamlining solution, and a pre-recorded version of our talk can be seen here: https://youtu.be/MUEWisP0nYQ

Since the conference, we have made a number of small UI/UX improvements, but more importantly have added a new template-wizard so that translators can now submit their own extract templates to AcudocX to be easily input into the system for use with their language (we originally needed the developers to update templates).

AcudocX now has functionality for 10 additional languages: Chinese (simplified and traditional), Japanese, Korean, Indonesian, Arabic, French, German, Dutch, Spanish and Portuguese, and we now need to put our hand out and recruit linguists willing to be one of the first onboard for their language, as early-adopters of the system.

Early adopters will need a certain level of technical competence, as the system is still in development, and they should have a regular flow of customers who they can selectively use the online system with.

More info about the system, for freelancers and LSPs, can be seen here: https://acudocx.com.au/language-service-provider/

For a demonstration of the system, we filmed a role-play of a customer using AcudocX to process an extract translation of a birth certificate here: https://youtu.be/bRswXWAv8-k

Please see my announcement here on YouTube: https://youtu.be/lPJhUBXFFf8

If anyone has questions about the AcudocX system, please post them down below. Happy to start a discussion.

And for those wanting to express their interest in becoming an early-adopter, please email me here at [email protected]

Kind regards,
Dylan
