Becaue I know it's common pratice to name the TM based on Source target. Example "TEST_En_CS". But if they are bilingual then it shouldn't really matter what is the source and what is target, as long both languages are present. | | |

In most CAT tools, glossaries only work in one direction, and the same applies to TMs in most tools. In most CAT tools, if you want a glossary or TM to work in another direction, you have to create a copy and "reverse" the order of the fields before it works. Do you have a specific CAT tool in mind? Subject line is: Are TMs bi or multilingual? Some TM formats allow for more than two languages to be present in the TM. TMX files, for example, can have more than two languages. However, since translations aren't always correct, or since source texts aren't always well written, it's not always smart to just assume that a TM is equally effective in all directions.
