Dear community,

Does any of you have dealed with a LSP presenting himself as Kamal and mailing from multilingualservisec4 [at] gmail etc.?

This person uses to issue Project Orders on behalf of the company Multitransmedia based in India.

Thank you for sharing your experiences whith me and eventually help me sort out this annoying experience.

Scam Apr 12, 2019

That's surely a scammer and an exceptionally dumb one, if he can't even get the name in his email to agree with the company name in the PO.
This company exists and has its own domain, why would they write to you from a gmail account that doesn't even contain their name?
If you want to do something, contact them on the official email address and ask about that "Kamal" guy, they may appreciate it and who knows, maybe you get some real jobs...

It can happen Apr 12, 2019

In fact, it happened once that a PM at a legitimate agency first wrote to me from a gmail address. I wrote back to the company's official email address to ask if it was legitimate. It was.

Not everybody realises that using a domain like gmail for business makes it look like a scam.
