Thank you sharing! I enjoyed it very much.
Wow, I respect interpreters… I was searching for another classic by a colleague called Edwal. He's still there, but I can't find the story... Thanks for the laugh! And shudder. I never interpret, ever, even for one of my very best clients.

Simultaneous interpreters ... multitasking ... or multi-interpreting ? | Jan 14, 2019 |
Thanks Katalin for sharing this video with "crazy end". Somehow, face-to-face Consecutive Interpreting seems safer... Even if, as an Interpreter, sometimes you have to translate 'kindly' and 'softly' a rude comment or word.

[Edited at 2019-01-14 21:05 GMT] Yes, I was thinking the same when I was watching it. If the same happened to somebody, he/she could feel embarrassed and uncomfortable. (spoiler) At the same time since this is a conference with many people, the listening person might have felt uncomfortable but she/he had the chance to report it to a conference staff or just turn around and look up very furiously at the interpreters' booth sector. But then there wouldn't be a story.
