Hello, dear colleagues.
I was contacted by an agency for an interpreting job in Cairo for the US gov. They asked for a portfolio that has more details and references. Would you please help me with some tips (and samples if possible) on how to build one?
Do you think it would help to add samples of my translation work as well?!
Thanks, Sylvia

Avoid the job offer, do some research on the perils that Afghan interpreters have faced & are facing & make a learned decision.

Cairo is not in Afghanistan
@Sylvia, I think they basically want to know what assignments you've done so far, who you have worked for, if there are past clients that could recommend you, and so on.
