Know Your Translator™ data
Standard security procedures
Client data security is of paramount importance for me. Therefore:
- I never upload or share any client data with cloud-based or any other data storage systems. As my client, you can rest assured your data will not end up in Dropbox, Google Drive or similar data storage applications.
- I perform daily data back up copies of client data in two separate and reliable hard drives simultaneously, thereby virtually eliminating any possibility of data loss.
- My PC is protected at all times by standard Windows security applications as well as state of the art anti-virus programs.
- When I am not working, I always shut down my PC, thereby minimizing any potential intrusion.
- I strictly work in my home office using a cable connection (no wifi); it's faster and much safer.
- I never disclose my clients' identities or contact information, unless expressly authorise in writing by the client.
