Roberta is a full time interpreter and translator and concluded her interpreting course with merit. She has a background and Master degree in Architecture and Urbanism and is currently doing her second Master degree – now in Translation. Her diverse interpreting experience in New Zealand for private and Government agencies makes her feel at home when navigating between different settings, from immigration interpreting where cultural awareness is essential, to mental health interpreting where every whisper has its intrinsic meaning. She enjoys being a simultaneous Interpreter for conferences and on a daily basis translation of documents for immigration, driver licences and others keep her schedule busy.
Roberta is Brazilian and has been living in New Zealand for 7 years where she is also a citizen. Before living in New Zealand she also lived in Portugal and in Japan. She enjoys different challenges and traveling is her hobby.
