Gostaria de saber a melhor tradução para PRAZO PRECLUSIVO, no seguinte contexto:

"Ao receber o RM, independente do prazo para faturamento previsto no item 7.1, a Contratada poderá oferecer, no PRAZO PRECLUSIVO de 10 (dez) dias úteis as impugnações ou considerações que julgar necessárias, as quais serão submetidas à apreciação e julgamento da XXXXX".

Não encontrei sequer uma definição para esta expressão.

Prazo preclusivo é o prazo após o qual, se a parte não tomar providências, perde um direito. Neste caso, após 10 dias prederá o direito de impugnar ou fazer considerações. Daí a inversão do período para soar melhor em inglês. Existe a expressão "preclusive term", mas não é muito comum.
