Below are my dictionary's thesaurus suggestions for "damned" which appears to me to most literal translation of 'danado'. I chose 'blessed' because it seems appropriate. "danado" often carries an element of affection, as hence my choice of 'blessed' which carries the same element of reluctant affection for the thing in question.

I spent sometime, trying to make it all rhyme in English but I haven't yet been able to do it :-)

I love Mike (de Oliveira) Brady's suggestion for the whole translation in his agree with Luiz.
He really makes it rhyme!
But I'd still use 'blessed' rather than 'irresistible'...
