Hi everyone,

I am hoping for a little help with a few terms I am struggling with. I have posted them in separate questions.

I am translating the verbatims from a market research survey regarding an advert for a beer brand. The translation is from Brazilian Portuguese into UK English.

The question asked was “Please describe the ad you just saw, as if you were talking to a friend”.

The response is “Como não tem outra vai essa mesmo”. I understand all of these words individually but I am struggling to make sense of the phrase as a whole; that’s why I have posted the whole sentence.

I would greatly appreciate any help anyone can provide.
