Portuguese term or phrase: por ventura devida
Here is the text:

"Beneficiário: E a pessoa física ou jurídica designada ado segurado na apólice, para receber a indenização, por ventura devida, no caso da ocorrência do evento coberto (sinistro)."

This is under Definitions Clause of an insurance policy. I'm not really clear on the above phrase, but does Ventura have to do with a hazard? My guestimated try would be: "on account of payable hazards" (por ventura devida)
