Hi, there! I was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to help me with this term. I have been translating it by "coin production", but I was wondering if there was a more specific term.

Here's some context:

"Esta medida traduziu-se num forte incentivo aos lavramentos de prata de boa lei que se encontrava, mais frequentemente, na posse dos privados."

"A marcha do novo sistema passou pelo ceitil de D. Afonso V. Atendendo à “massificação” dos lavramentos em cobre que esta moeda representou, revelou-se de grande importância na economia."
