OK not switchgear, you're right there, that was a badly thought out note to my answer, but not about the rest.
Yet again you haven't even bothered to read the question properly.
Having installed the electrical system in about 10 houses, I know exactly what a junction box is, have you even bothered looking at the links? This is 3 PHASE, not domestic or office stuff, it is a 380 V DISTRIBUTION PANEL not a little plastic (usually not metal in a domestic situation btw) box.

Where is this 3 phase distribution panel that fits in a 6 x 9 cm box??

But hey, who cares, obviously not Prof Camilla, or her client, or the people that are going to have to read her translation.

a switchgear is a giant equipment, about the size of six refrigerators or more, the wall-mounted junction box is a small metal box where you setup circuit breakers (usually 4 to 20 pieces) and embed in into the wall with a PVC cover or a metal hatch. These are domestic or office devices, installed in some corner of the kitchen to switch off the circuit breakers when necessary, without having to switch off the power of the entire house or floor.
The CB panel itself could be called a power distribution board, power panel, etc., but not a switchgear whatsoever.
However, the context here refers to the box where the panel/board will be setup. Therefore, a wall-mounted junction box.
BTW, you disagreed with my suggestion and posted a synonym. Why didn't you post switchgear to see the opinions?

Anybody can make mistakes, and you should admit when you make one.
Caixas de sobrepor are small boxes, embedded into the wall or anchored to the wall, onto which you fasten outlets or switches. Then you put a PVC cover on top, with another two or four fasteners. These are small boxes 6 x 9 cm or 12 x 9 cm. In this case, it could also be a metal "Quadro de Distribuição", as mentioned in the text, but the term still refers to the box where it's mounted, not to a switchgear at all.
