I agree with Beatriz. Example:

The Riyadh office of Dewan Architects & Engineers designed and is supervising construction of the 18,000-m2 tower, which will have ground-floor retail, basement parking, four mezzanine floors and 28 floors of office space.

And as per the example, the 'dezoito pavimentos tipos' are '18 floors of office space'.

I'd only add between the ground level and the typical floors. Something like "... 25 above-ground levels, including a ground floor, 18 typical upper floors, and 6 general use floors between the ground level and the upper floors." I think its important to mention where these middle-floors are as well.

How about translating as something along the lines of "25 above-ground levels, including the ground floor, six general-use floors, and 18 typical floors"? There doesn't really seem to be a term in English equivalent to "sobressolo"...

is not a techical term here. It's rather very generic. It's simply the junction of the word "intermediate" (between two or in the middle), and the word "floor" (building stories). This could be separated in a phrase like "the floors in intermediate levels are..."
It cannot be considered a specific or technical term in this case.
Furthermore, there is not mention that they are for parking. They are simply different than the regular designed upper floors. These could be stores, open multipurpose floors (without partitions), or parking spaces, among other things. Judith needs a term that identifies them as (1) between the ground level and the upper levels; (2) with a different design than the standard (tipo) floors.
And "above ground" is redundant here, as the floor level and the upper floors are also "above ground".

The term "intermediate floor" is equivalent to mezzanine (see http://www.rmperiti.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=ar... ), which according to wikipedia is " typically not counted among the overall floors of a building". But Brazilian real state listings make it clear each sobressolo corresponds to one floor. See, for example, http://ce.bomnegocio.com/fortaleza-e-regiao/lancamentos/lanc... : "N°de Pavimentos: 21 pavimentos tipo.Sendo total 27 pavimentos (2 Subsolos + 1 Sobressolo + lazer + 21 tipos + Reservatório superior + casa de máquinas)".

In that case, they should be called "intermediate floors" or something like that, because the text clearly states a difference between these floors and the typical design floors (the upper floors = pavimentos-tipo). This should be, IMO:
"The building is a tower comprising basement, ground-floor, six intermediate floors and eighteen typical-design floors."

I don't think EN makes a distinction between what you call intermediate floors and other upper floors. If they have a special use e.g. parking, offices, etc, then one could say six office floors and eighteen residential floors, for example. I doubt you can have as many as six mezzanines, though; the mezzanine is a half floor between the ground floor and the first floor. Entresol (a synonym for mezzanine) certainly exists as a word in EN but I would reckon it is so rare as to be unrecognisable to most people in the industry.

They are not the upper floors. They are intermediate floors between the ground level and the typical design floors. This building has a ground level, six intermediate floors and eighteen typical design floors. A total of 25 floors above ground. The issue here is how to call the intermediate floors.

"sobre solos" here obviously excludes the ground floor as this is mentioned separately ("térreo"), so "above ground" won't do as that includes the ground floor. I would suggest "upper floors", which is commonly used in real estate and construction to refer to the stories higher than the ground floor.
