This was very helpful.

In the end, I had a chance to talk to the client who chose "train" as the best translation. Apparently, this construction site uses the "train with wagons" as an image as to how they organize material deliveries.

Explanation:
Ich kenne den Begriff nur als Teil des Kompositums "Häuserzug".
Habe das bei linguee als "block" übersetzt.

Bin leider nicht vom Fach und dazu gab's auch nur einen Treffer bei linguee, aber vllt. hilft's ja :)
