(2006-12-21 14:57:27 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Ecco una definizione per "follatura": La follatura è un processo di rifinizione laniera assai importante poiché influenza il tatto, l'aspetto e la compattezza del tessuto, sfruttando il fenomeno della feltratura, caratteristico della lana, che riduce le dimensioni del tessuto, in lunghezza ed in larghezza, aumentandone densità, tenacità, spessore, peso unitario ed impenetrabilità agli agenti atmosferici, con infeltrimenti superficiali o profondi variabili in relazione a: durata del trattamento, qualità e struttura del tessuto e delle fibre.
