Hola a todos,

Estoy traduciendo el guión de una película pero me aparecen muchos indicadores que no estoy seguro si deba traducir, algo similar como lo que he visto en programacion.

Por ejemplo:


EXT. TARMAC - APRON - SAME

Me habia hecho a la idea que las palabras como Ext. y Same se debian dejar asi ya que son indicadores en sus guiones, pero a veces me salen cosas como :

INT. AIRJET - MAIN DECK - MINUTES LATER

Estoy traduciendo el guión de una película pero me aparecen muchos indicadores que no estoy seguro si deba traducir, algo similar como lo que he visto en programacion.

Por ejemplo:


EXT. TARMAC - APRON - SAME

Me habia hecho a la idea que las palabras como Ext. y Same se debian dejar asi ya que son indicadores en sus guiones, pero a veces me salen cosas como :

INT. AIRJET - MAIN DECK - MINUTES LATER

y no se si traducir "minutes later" ya que es mas claro que SAME, pero me da conflicto que se vea raro traducir algunos de esos indicadores y otros no.

Esto lo pregunto porque he visto ejemplos de guiones en español donde esas palabras se dejan en inglés, así que me confunde un poco.

varios guiones cinematográficos. No veo ninguna razón para no traducir las indicaciones de cada escena. EXT se queda igual, claro = Exterior. Todo lo demás se traduce, por supuesto, así como los diálogos. Suerte.

te agradesco la aclaracion.

Es que averiguando asi y viendo ejemplos de otros guiones vi que muchos no traducen ciertos indicadores por ser un estandar internacional, pero que igual en base a lo que te piden puede hacerse.

Cosas como "SAME" "CONTINUING" he visto en ejemplos que se quedan tal cual, pero si hay veces que se traducen.

Ahora me siento mas seguro con alguien con experiencia que lo diga.

Felipe, you are the second colleague in the past 2 or 3 weeks who has asked about the translation of the scene descriptions in a movie script.

The other colleague asked several Kudoz questions on 7 and 8 October (EN->ES), and included enough context to let us know the movie is Flightplan (Peter Dowling) which hit the box-office in English in 2005.
